Junior Blockchain Developer
Role Overview
The Junior Blockchain Developer supports the development and maintenance of blockchain protocol components. This role is suited for engineers with strong fundamentals who are eager to grow their expertise in blockchain, cryptography, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and maintenance of blockchain protocol components
• Implement protocol features under guidance from senior engineers
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation
• Participate in code reviews and protocol design discussions
• Support debugging, testing, and performance analysis
Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent open-source contributions
• Fundamental understanding of blockchain concepts and distributed systems
• Experience with at least one backend or systems programming language
• Strong willingness to learn protocol design and cryptography
• Familiarity with zk-rollups or zero-knowledge concepts
• Exposure to Polygon CDK or modular blockchain frameworks
• Introductory knowledge of homomorphic encryption
