Finance Officer
Role Overview
The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing financial planning, financial management, and financial governance across BYC Ventures. This role ensures strong financial discipline while supporting the growth of blockchain infrastructure deployments, government technology projects, and venture initiatives. The position works closely with executive leadership to maintain reliable financial systems, support strategic decisions, and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare financial plans, forecasts, and financial models to support company strategy and expansion
• Manage company budgeting, financial projections, and performance monitoring
• Provide financial analysis to support executive decision making
• Support financial structuring and costing for government and institutional projects
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial obligations including taxes, payroll, and operational expenses
• Maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate with accountants, auditors, and advisors to ensure accurate financial operations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning, or related roles
• Strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles
• Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
